Reika Okuhara is a multidisciplinary artist originally from Okinawa, Japan. Her work is deeply influenced by the rich cultural tapestry of her homeland. She earned her BFA focusing on painting from Middle Tennessee State University and her MFA from Washington State University.

      Reika works on installations, digital media, paintings, and sculptures and has showcased her work at the Jordan Schnitzer Museum in Pullman. Currently residing in Pullman, Washington, Reika's artistic focus is on resilience and cultural hybridity, inspired by her life experiences.
